Pretty much ever since Joss Whedon signed on to direct 2017’s
Justice League in lieu of Zack Snyder, there has been a sizable contingent of fans who have continued to demand the release of the “Snyder Cut,” or at least some other version of the film that they believe existed before Whedon entered the picture.
While it still seems unlikely that this will ever happen, and there still remains some serious doubt over whether it even exists, a number of people involved in the film’s production have come out to support the campaign to have the Snyder Cut released.
In fact, just last week,
Justice League and
Aquaman star Jason Momoa stirred up this ongoing debate once more when
he claimed that he had actually watched the Snyder Cut.
Now, the actor has returned to fan the flames by taking to Instagram to share a new photo of Arthur Curry impaling Steppenwolf with his trident and adding the hashtag #releasethesyndercut.
In addition, Snyder himself has shared a new black and white photo from his version of the film featuring Kiersey Clemons as Iris West.
