Rupert Evans NOT Superman

It has been playing across the traps for a few days so far that Rupert Evans was up for the role of Superman in the currently-casting Justice League movie. According to IESB, not so!

IESB – the Movie Reporter (nice bit of a free plug there!) – managed to track down some of Evans’ entourage and management yesterday, and some ungodly hour in the morning (for them at least).

From the article found here;

Yesterday I spent a few hours calling his management over at William Morris to no success but this morning at around 3:55am PST which was around 11:00am in the U.K., I did get a hold of their British counterparts over at the Curtis Brown UK office who told IESB “ We don’t know where that rumor started, there’s no truth to the rumor at all.”

I double checked by asking again “did Rupert Evans audition for any of the Justice League characters?” They answered by laughing and repeating “No, not at all.”

There you have it… Now why didn’t I ring them?
