Zack Snyder's movies aren't for everyone, but there's no denying that the filmmaker's career has been an exciting one. After helming a number of shorts, he made his big screen debut with Dawn of the Dead. That opened a lot of doors, and allowed Snyder to adapt relatively obscure comic book properties (to those unfamiliar with them, at least) like 300 and Watchmen.
They were followed by a couple of original stories - Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole and Sucker Punch - before Snyder made his DC debut with a reboot of Superman: Man of Steel.
With that, the director became the man in charge of the big screen DC Universe. At Comic-Con in 2013, Snyder announced that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was in the works. It followed three years later, but a darker take on the characters wasn't to the liking of some fans and many critics, so Warner Bros. panicked and decided to try and take the DCEU in a lighter direction.
We all know what happened next, particularly in the case of Justice League.
Now, though, Zack Snyder's Justice League has finally hit HBO Max, and this awesome video - made by former CBM writer Dino Kos (a.k.a. WolvieCBM) - highlights some standout moments in the filmmaker's career. We even get a look ahead to his next movie, Netflix's Army of the Dead.
