With the end of 2021 on the horizon, we're starting to see recaps of what the past 12 months have delivered. Now, Twitter just dropped a series of Tweets looking back at the topics talked about more than any other over the past year, including TV shows and movies. In the latter category, the top 10 saw Zack Snyder's Justice League named as the most Tweeted about release of 2021.
It managed to beat Spider-Man: No Way Home, with the rest of the top 10 looking like this:
10. The Batman
9. Shrek
8. Godzilla vs. Kong
7. Dune
6. The Suicide Squad
5. Black Widow
4. Black Panther
3. Eternals
2. Spider-Man: No Way Home
1. Zack Snyder's Justice League
Given the hype surrounding the "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, this isn't really that surprising. After all, it was the #ReleaseTheSnyderCut movement that helped make the movie a reality, with the response to this version of the 2017 release then spawning the #RestoreTheSnyderVerse hashtag.
We can't help but think that Spider-Man: No Way Home would have come out on top had Twitter published the list after that movie is released next week, but this is quite a win for Snyder's fans.
