Based on what we saw in the first trailer for Justice League, leadership duties will be divided between Batman and Wonder Woman, though previous comments have pointed to the Caped Crusader being in charge seeing as he's the one who assembles the team and all. However, it now sounds like the Man of Steel will return from the grave with a chip on his shoulder and the desire to take charge of the group!
In the latest issue of Total Film Magazine, Henry Cavill briefly weighs in on Superman's return, teasing: "There’s pretty much an argument between him and Batman as to who is the leader." So, it sounds like we're probably getting a humorous bit of bickering between the two rather than Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Round 2, but these comments are still pretty intriguing, don't you think?
It sounds like it could be pretty fun anyway, and that's something Justice League director Zack Snyder was quick to reiterate given the opportunity. "I think it's in all the characters inherently, this larger than life, big, fun stuff, especially when you're dealing with the Justice League." Who would you guys like to see take the lead in the superhero ensemble? Personally, my vote goes to the Dark Knight.
