As excitement continues to build for the release of Zack Snyder's Justice League (or, Justice League Director's Cut as it seems to be officially titled) on HBO Max in just a few month's time, another new image from the "Snyder Cut" has been shared online.
This black-and-white still gives us a new look at Aquaman star Jason Momoa as Arthur Curry, and appears to be an additional shot from the character's introductory scene.
As a core member of the team, Aquaman already had a fairly substantial role in the theatrical version of the movie, but we do know that Momoa returned for the recent round of reshoots, so Snyder clearly envisioned a little more of the Atlantean hero in his original take on the DC Comics adaptation.
Around the time it was first announced that Snyder would be given the chance to bring us his original vision for the iconic DC super-team, we were told that reshoots would not be that extensive, but the likes of Momoa, Henry Cavil, and Ben Affleck returning for additional photography led to speculation that we'd be getting a lot more than just a standard director's cut with a few extra scenes.
However, Snyder has since confirmed that his cut would only feature about 4 minutes of new footage - despite the recent news that Jared Leto and Joe Manganiello would reprise their respective roles as The Joker and Deathstroke.
The "Snyder Cut" of Justice League will debut as a 4-episode event series on HBO Max in March.
