We know that a Lobo movie is currently in development but that's seemingly been the case for years now so fans aren't exactly letting themselves get excited over the version which may or may not be directed by Michael Bay. However, someone who would be open to playing the character is The Walking Dead star, Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Here's what he had to say about the character recently.
"The only one I want to play is DC and Lobo. He’s badass," he revealed during a recent Q&A session at Walker Stalker Con. "Marvel, I don’t know, everyone that’s in it is pretty good. I feel like all the greatest characters, they’re working." However, when pressed for which Marvel character he'd play, the actor indicated that he would be open to taking on the role of Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic.
That would definitely be fun to see, especially as the Fantastic Four are on their way home to Marvel Studios and the Marvel Cinematic Universe! His co-star Norman Reedus, meanwhile, was also there and mentioned Ghost Rider and Silver Surfer as being two character he would be interested in. After they've clashed in the world of The Walking Dead, it would be fun to see them in the MCU one day...
