This from Variety:, "Warners is aiming for a PG-13 rating. Pic will be strong on visual effects, and Ritchie will bring the irreverent, gruff tone of past films like "Snatch" and "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels."

I am not to thrilled about the PG-13 rating, but hey, were getting a freaking Lobo movie. FINALLY!!!!

Word is production is set to begin next year. Don Payne will pen the script(The Simpsons, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, My Super Ex-Girlfriend), with Joel Silver, Akiva Goldsman and Andrew Rona producing the Lobo space odyssey.

What u cant' do Lobo Pg13, it was dum down the superman anime adventures when he was on there. But this will be interesting to see. Deceased Kevin Todd Smith for Lobo.

Really? Guy Ritchie? I don't think he's the right director for this job. Maybe Timur Bekmambetov could do a good job. I really liked Wanted the movie, and I don't think the direction was one of it's problems.

But seriously David Batista for Lobo! He did a half way decent job of acting on Smallville! He was a Phantom Zone baddie/beastie, if ya remember?

Lobo needs to be a tall guy and Batista is 6'5".

Loos like DC's trying to make a come back with better movies. We're going to start getting better movies from DC and it'll become bigger than Marvel.

They'll probably change the rating when they start making it. Since Lobo like the darkest character there is and Guy Richies movies are almost always R.

I wonder what roll Jason Statham will get since he's in a bunch of Richie movies ;) lol.

Micky Rourke for Lobo would be the best.

Kevin Durand would be a good Lobo IMO. I saw it suggested in one of my articles, and I like the idea.

Wow, I go away for a couple of days and a ton of articles appear! lol But anyway, Lobo movie should be awesome if its done right! Dont know what to say about Guy Ritchie directing it. If Guy does a god job on Sherlock Holmes, Im all for him directing a Lobo movie
