Season 2 of Channel 4 and AMC’s Humans saw every synth around the world gain consciousness in its thrilling finale. Now, the first trailer for Season 3 sees the Hawkins family and the entire world dealing with the consequences.

Also, as expected, the new trailer features plenty of returning characters, including Gemma Chan’s (Captain Marvel) Mia. However, we also get some exciting new looks at some of the newer human and synth characters set to debut on the show. This includes what looks to be a new love interest for Katherine Parkinson's (The IT Crowd) Laura, and a mysterious new character calling for synths to fight back against their oppressors.

For U.K. viewers the sci-fi series will be premiering on Channel 4 this May, but U.S. viewers will have to wait until June 5 to watch the series when it premieres on AMC.

One year after the dawn of consciousness, a decimated and oppressed Synth population fights to survive in a world that hates and fears them. In a divided Britain, Synths and humans struggle to broker an uneasy peace, but when fractures within the Synth community start to appear, all hope of stability is threatened. Set against the maelstrom of political chaos, the ethical complexities of the dawn of a new species play out across a thrilling multi-stranded narrative. As the Synth family, Mia (Chan), Niska (Berrington) and Max (Jeremiah) continue to battle for their right to survival, Joe (Goodman-Hill) Laura (Parkinson) and their children Mattie (Lucy Carless), Toby (Theo Stevenson) and Sophie (Pixie Davies) struggle to come to terms with the cataclysmic events of last season.

What is the general consensus of this around here? worth a look?

I am looking for a new show to binge on and 2 seasons of this could be the ticket.

I need to get into the man in the high castle and westworld too, but I digress..throw American Gods in there also

I've enjoyed the last two seasons and it will be nice to see how the world has changed with smart Synths.
