We're now less than two weeks away from the release of Godzilla Vs. Kong, and Legendary Pictures has shared a new featurette for the highly-anticipated monster mash.

In addition to spotlighting some awesome new footage of the legendary Titans throwing down, the sneak peek features interviews with director Adam Wingard and several of the main cast members, who reveal that the human characters will be divided into members of "Team Kong" and "Team Godzilla."

Given her connection to Big G from King of the Monsters, it makes sense that Millie Bobby Brown would be heading up Team Godzilla with Julian Dennison and Bryan Tyree Henry, while Alexander Skarsgard, Rebecca Hall and Eiza González will be cheering on the Great Ape.

While an early synopsis for the movie assured us that "one will fall," the prevailing theory is that Godzilla and Kong will ultimately join forces to stop a larger threat (Mecha-Godzilla? Mecha-Ghidorah?) to the planet - but that doesn't mean they won't do some serious damage to each other beforehand.

Check out the new featurette below.

“Legends collide as these mythic adversaries meet in a spectacular battle for the ages, with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. Kong and his protectors undertake a perilous journey to find his true home, and with them is Jia, a young orphaned girl with whom he has formed a unique and powerful bond. But they unexpectedly find themselves in the path of an enraged Godzilla, cutting a swath of destruction across the globe. The epic clash between the two titans—instigated by unseen forces—is only the beginning of the mystery that lies deep within the core of the Earth.”

Starring Alexander Skarsgard, Millie Bobby Brown, Rebecca Hall, Eiza González, Julian Dennison, Shun Oguri, Jessica Henwick and Brian Tyree Henry, Godzilla Vs. Kong pits the two famous monsters against each other in an epic battle.

Eric Pearson (Thor: Ragnarok) and Max Borenstein (The Terror) wrote the screenplay, with Adam Wingard on board as director. The movie is set for release in theaters and on HBO Max on March 31.

I'm definitely team Kong for this. For exactly the same reason as Julian Dennison (who I didn't even know was in this).

I've watched Godzilla movies since Raymond Burr was the star. Saturday afternoons in the 1970's were fat guys wrestling and Godzilla movies.

Yep Team Godzilla he has a better awareness of potential threats to the planet than anyone beside Serizawa gives him credit for. He's saved the planet from Ghidorah at least twice, stopped the Mutos and Shinomura from reproducing and overpopulating the world and those are just the rivalries that we know of in his millions of years of existence.

Team Zilla, in that I find him a more powerful and rightful titan

Team Kong, in that he's got a heart of gold and I'm excited to see him go literal ape-shit. Hoping he ends up "King" of hollow earth as I've seen some predict, it would be a good setting for him that isn't Skull Island
