Full Details For The POWER RANGERS Original Motion Picture Soundtrack Confirm An Updated Theme Song

With just under three weeks to go, Lionsgate & Saban Entertainment have released the full set of details for their upcoming Power Rangers Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which will feature twenty-eight original compositions from 2x Primetime Emmy-nominee Brian Tyler.

Tyler is a favorite of Marvel Studios, having collaborated with them on the scores for Iron Man 3, Thor: The Dark World, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. He's also well-known for scoring four of the last five Fast & Furious movies. Following Power Rangers, Tyler's upcoming projects include Universal's The Fate of the Furious and Tom Cruise's The Mummy, which are both due out later this year.

The new track list isn't particularly revealing but it does shed some light on how the film may differ from the classic Mighty Morphin TV series, including how the Rangers may now be described as "Those Who Are Worthy" instead of "teenagers with attitude." It also seemingly suggests that we may get to spend a lot more time with the Rangers and their Zords before their final showdown with Rita Repulsa, meaning we may get to see multiple morphing sequences and/or a battle the trailers haven't teased yet.

The album will become available on digital platforms March 24, coinciding with the film's theatrical release, while a physical album will release a few weeks later on April 7. You can currently pre-order the latter version on Amazon.

I really liked Tyler's work for Marvel, even though I kinda understand why they broke ties with him if the rumors I've read are true.

@TheNewGuy123 - What rumors?

@Jaspion - That he breached his contract with Marvel and left halfway through recording sessions on Age of Ultron so he could go finish Furious 7, and that's why they had to bring in Danny Elfman to finish Ultron.

@TheNewGuy123 - Wow, that's an unprofessional move by him. Oh well, at least we got Alan Silvestri back.

@TheNewGuy123 - I heard about this. i read he was quick to get another check as soon as possible so he just up and left to go finish F7. Very unprofessional.

Silvestri is back so its all good.

So the 3 arguably worst or divisive Marvel movies.

My prediction is good effects but the acting will leave something to be desired... At least from the actual rangers

@Kman - Yeah, it's going to be divided 50/50.
