HAN SOLO: Ron Howard Gives Us A First Look At Lando Calrissian (Sort Of) As Donald Glover Wraps Shooting

Ron Howard has once again taken to Twitter to share a behind the scenes photo from Han Solo and it means we get a first look at Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian. Well, his facial hair at least!

Big changes have been made to the Han Solo movie ever since Ron Howard took over directing duties from Phil Lord and Chris Miller and the filmmaker continues sharing new photos from behind the scenes. It's a good way to try and get rid of the negativity surrounding the project and keeps excitement levels high despite the fact that it's become clear we're getting a vastly different movie.

Last night, Howard took to Twitter to reveal a behind the scenes shot of Donald Glover now he's finished filming those extensive reshoots and it gives us our first look at the hero. Well, sort of! At least we now know what his facial hair is going to look like when we meet this younger version in Han Solo.

Very few official details about the movie have been released but that's probably because a) Lucasfilm is hoping to keep the focus on Star Wars: The Last Jedi and b) the story has changed a great deal since it was originally conceived. What do you guys think about this new photo? Share your thoughts below.

Say what you will about Ron Howard doing this movie, but I like the dude.

@JamesPunn - I really like him as well, as a matter of fact I would have happily seen him on a number of CBMs instead, but even though I'm an absolute Star Wars zealot, I'm not excited about this movie one bit. I think he could have made a great Captain Marvel movie, seeing as he knows how to tell space and pioneer stories.

@Asturgis - He honestly should've just done The Phantom Menace when Lucas asked him to. We would've gotten a better prequel trilogy since Howard's a guy like Marquand or Kirshner, he would've said [frick] you, no that idea's shit to Lucas.

@Yaf - I didn't know he was asked to do it, damn that's very interesting.

@Asturgis - There were multiple directors asked, but they all told George it was his baby and he should direct. The problem with that is George Lucas isn't that great of a director and had way too many yes men around him at this point.

@Ramiel - that shows why Connor shouldn't go into the ring with a 49-0, now 50-0, fighter that is used to going the distance.

@RancidBane - I think that 100mil Conor is getting shows us why he did get in the ring though.

These two could have generated that kind of money no matter where they fought. But I know for a fact Floyd would never have gotten in the octagon. Respect to Connor for taking the risk.

Flloyd Mayweather is a gifted boxer but damn, he's so hard to like as a person and consequently, harder to feel happy for.
