Giacchino pretty much took a year off composing film scores. Welcome back, MG.

Been a fan of Giacchino since his video game days. Thanks to him, playing MEDAL OF HONOR: ALLIED ASSAULT was like being in a Spielberg movie. When ALIAS came on TV, I looked up the composer and was floored to learn that it was the same guy. Watching him go on to win Oscars was like watching that nerdy kid from school grow up to defeat the jocks.

Cumberbatch better not be playing an actor pretending to be Khan.

Giacchino is just [frick]ing great one of the best composers out there I absolutely adore his Incredibles score and the main theme for the trek reboot.

wow. You are saying that the only thing that doesn't work is the sound card. Praise the Lord and pass the ammunition :)

Two things.

1. They misspelled Quo'noS
2. That's not the Star Trek main theme. That's Giacchino's substitute theme. It doesn't become a main theme until it appears in a TV show. :P
3. I only said two things, there is no third.

@1geekygurl If the issue here is the race...They tried to after Benicio Del Toro, unfortunately he wasn't available.

So they went after someone who probably doesn't look like Khan, but he is still a great actor.

I don't know if it's Khan, but if it is, I have no problem with it. Because to me, when an actor is portraying an inspired role, it matters more if the actor acts the role than whether or not the actor looks it.

@ ndwwrestler2
A lot of people think its Khan (friends of mine do). Part of me thinks it is. That they will probably spring that surprise. But I kinda hope it isn't because I really want Benedict to really OWN this villain. The problem is if its Khan people will inevitably draw comparisons regardless if he pulls it off or not.

@1geekygurl really? this same comment? In the Star Trek thread?
