She went into full cardiac arrest early Sunday and could not be revived, the Website TMZ reported.

It's thought an emergency 911 call was made by her husband Simon Monjack from their LA home at 8am this morning.

She was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

RIP. What a talented actress. A lot of fan casts will now be changed as she was always a contender in many. She will be missed.

I know a lot of users on CBM wanted to see her as Harley Quinn in future Batman movies and I too was going to include her in a future Batman cast.

She was a really talented actress and its a great pity we'll never see her in that role or any others for that matter.

I dont think she had kids but its still obviously terrible for her husband and family especially at this time of year! :(

Josh I just read this on twitter and I came here to see if anyone heard. I am really sad about this... I really liked her and the films she did. She had so much talent. So sad for her whole family.
Now we lost a gr8 Joker and a would-have-been great Harley Quinn...

She actually has a massive amount of support online for her to play Harley Quinn - in fact, I think there's even a petition supporting her for the role.

As I've said above, its a huge pity to us comic book fans that she wont ever be able to portray the character and an even greater pity that she wont be in any other movies either because IMO, she was a great actress.

This really is sad news in what has so far been a month of bad news on CBM after the recent reports about TheMYTH and THEHAWK.
