Listen to it here:

Start at the 1:08 mark for hear him talk on the Spider-Man reboot where reveals details about a scene involving Spider-Man saving his character Ray and his son's life. As well as revealing the somewhat expected plot element of the city hating and fearing Spider-Man because they think he's a bad guy more or less.

- Howell plays a construction worker whose son is in danger
- Scene with Lizard VS Spidey on Manhattan Bridge
- In the beginning of the movie, Spidey is considered a baddie by the people
- Howell's character helps sway the negative opinion on Spidey (near the end of the film), due to Spidey saving his son

Sweetre15: I'm happy to have confirmation from one of the actors that Lizard is indeed the villain because all the rumors and speculating got a bit annoying and I'm glad Sony wouldn't do something as suicidal as making it about Green Goblin again

lol It's funny because he say he's not supposed to say anything, but what he DOES say is pretty revealing for a movie this young in production. That was an actual spoiler. He's giving specific details about the plot and the ending of the film. I don't care, but someone looking forward to this could be slightly annoyed. If I was Sony, I'd remove his part and change the events.

ummm.... he says Sony wants them to remain hush hush on it and then proceeds to confirm the villain and details of two major scenes in the movie?

LOL

@Marvel....well after the genius of Ifran Khan saying it was Green Goblin we had thought other wise but the guy clearly has no idea what he saying. So now we know the truth. I can't wait for this movie, I can't wait to see this new direction they are going with

I hope The Lizard is wearing a lab coat still.
That's what I loved about him. It lets you know he was once a very intelligent professor who BECAME a monster,
rather than some rampaging shit head.

hoping they push the PG13 to it's limit.
make it scary. one of the best scenes in the spidey franchise is the doc ock hospital scene. we need to see more stuff like that.

It's amazing how everyone can't help but talk about Charlie Sheen. I mean... who gives a damn? Talk about something with substance, like Japan's crisis or how the government wants most people dead. Jeezuz.

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony introduced the character of Norman Osborn in the first movie but not have him be the bad guy right off the bat.

What Raimi did with Connors in his Spider-man they will do with Osborn in this reboot, but hopefully will make him the big bad guy in 2 or 3 if the first one does good. (Which it should)

So he's not Ray Cooper. So there will be no Carlie Cooper. And no JJJ.
I'm disliking this reboot more and more all the time.
The Duke dissapproves.
