Wednesday has quickly emerged as one of Netflix's most popular shows, with Jenna Ortega's Wednesday Addams earning a lot of praise - and a well-deserved Golden Globes nomination - for her fantastic performance. However, every bit as impressive was what we saw from Emma Myers as Enid Sinclair.
With a new trailer for Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse set to be released later today, a recent interview with the actress has started receiving a lot of attention online.
Talking to Elite Daily, Myers was asked about her dream roles, and shared her hopes to one day play Gwen Stacy. "If they ever made a live-action Into The Spider-Verse, I would love to play Spider-Gwen," she enthused. "I would shave my head; I would dye my hair. I feel like that would be incredible."
The actress definitely looks the part, and it's been too long since we last saw Gwen on screen. Emma Stone played the character in The Amazing Spider-Man, but the character was killed off in the 2014 sequel. MJ, a new take on Mary Jane, has served as Peter Parker's main love interest in the MCU, though that could change in the next trilogy.
Spider-Gwen is a character who would really benefit from the live-action treatment, though there's another project Myers would love to be part of.
"There’s this book called Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, and there’s a girl in it named Door," she says. "That is like my ultimate role - I would murder somebody for that."
As you might expect, it hasn't taken long for fan renders of what Myers might look like as Spider-Gwen to surface online, and we'd say the image below proves how perfect she'd be for the role.
