With just under a couple of weeks to go until the release of Suicide Squad, Warner Bros. Interactive has released their official video game tie-in for the film, Suicide Squad: Special Ops, available for mobile platforms. The game allows you to play from the first-person perspective of Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and Diablo as you take on the minions of the Adversary. Check out the official launch trailer below, featuring gameplay footage intercut with scenes from the film! The game is available for free on the App Store and Google Play.

In this official Suicide Squad film game, you have been selected to lead a special task force comprised of highly dangerous incarcerated Super Villains. It is up to you and your Squad of antiheroes to defeat the horde of enemies that try to stop you. Fight as Harley Quinn with her signature baseball bat, or as Deadshot with his rifle or as Diablo with fire. Can you complete the mission? Are you Squad enough?

A full fledged game featuring each member of the squad in the style of X-Men Legends/Ultimate Alliance would have been sweet.

@kylo0607 -

Sometimes you just need a generic action film to pass the time.
Only so many movies in the world.

Also Vin needs to get some advice from Dwayne Johnson about getting back in Supershape.

@SimplyAz - Yeah, I guess.

I might watch it at my local theater if I get bored. But Mr. Diesel needs to do another Riddick sequel, that's where he is at his best (besides the FF franchise).

True, he did Riddick better than Dom in FF.

I downloaded it onto my computer. It's a pretty sweet little game, especially for free. The gameplay is pretty good, and the graphics are awesomely stylistic. It's basically like playing a comic book when it comes to the style. All you really do is fight off waves of enemies, but I've spent a good 2 hours of gameplay trying to beat more waves than I did previously, which makes for a pretty fun time
