Smallville: Chloe to the Rescue!

Smallville: Chloe to the Rescue!

When E! Online was asked about the romance between Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen on Smallville, there was no answer about the romance given - though there was a tiny spoiler about the show's return.

Offers E!, "Can't spill anything about the coupling (sorry) but I can tell you what Chloe (Allison Mack) will be up to when she returns to Smallville: She'll be helping to rescue the heroes after what happened in the most recent episode. Prepare for awesomeness!"

"What happened," for those who missed it (SPOILER ALERT!), is that the heroes had gathered in memorium for the fallen Hawkman, when something erupted, rendering all of them unconscious. Apparently Chloe, who the show has hinted has been out there in the world somewhere, reeturns just in the nick of time.

see now if the was kept under wraps it would have a been a slight suprise seeing her come back to save the heroes. too much information is let out by the show runners not saying its a bad thing, but the element of surprise is lost. but great find though dude.

and check out my review of tron legacy, a review from some one who had no idea what tron was http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/ibz/news/?a=26767

oh great chloe is coming back,i suppose this is when she becomes the new dr.fate.

what a great idea chloe one of the most hated characters looks like she is about to ruin one of the coolest.

smallville writers keep up the good work.

chloe does not need to be the next dr fate but she does need to have a heroic send off. i know the chloehaters are going to jump all over this...but she needs something after 10 years.

@ superguy1591

my mistake.

i haven't seen any of season 10,apart from "homecoming" & clips on youtube & this site.

it still sounds a bit lame having a non superhero saving a bunch of superheroes.

I don't see why this is a surprise. We saw a glimpse of Chloe in the Icarus episode which pretty much led me to believe we would be seeing her again shortly.

deadpool@ Chloe does have powers, not that you need to have powers to be a superhero. If that were the case Batman would not be considered a superhero. If you watched the show, you would know that Chloe has ability to heal... up and above her intellect.

Wow. I missed the very end of "Icarus" due to a power outage, so all I saw was the funeral procession for Hawkman. Didn't know they all decided to take a nap. I hope before Chloe wakes them up she has some fun with a Sharpie pen.

@ ranger14

i watch it now & again, but valid point about "batman".

but why give chloe powers in the first place ? its shit like this that i find so annoying about the character & the show.

especially giving her powers that don't use any cgi effects good way of saving some cash.

@ knightstalker

"they all decided to take a nap".

just like the veiwers. :P

I didn't see it posted anywhere yet but I read on Kryptonsite.com that Rosenbaum is going to do a Superhero convention next year with some other members of Smallville.

So that's gotta be good.

@Ranger14 & deadpool72 - Technically, Batman is a detective, not a super-hero! It's always irked me that people forget that! I blame the old SuperFriends cartoon for creating this perception problem!

For crying out loud, even after "The Dark Knight Returns", "Batman:Year One", the '89 Batman movie, Batman:The Animated series, Jeff Matsuda's "The Batman" cartoon from 5 years ago and Chris Nolan's films, people STILL think of Batman as a super-hero more than as the world's greatest detective! Aaargh!
BEO
BEO - 12/21/2010, 3:15 PM
@JonF - Batman being the world's "greatest" detective as you said and having saved the world in almost the same amount of times as Superman had, made him out to be a superhero. He was a hero for making a differences and the amount of differences he had made was super - superhero
Knightstalker
Knightstalker - 12/21/2010, 5:13 PM
Right on BEO! You don't have to have freaky "powers" to be a superhero. I work in the medical field and I see real superheroes everyday!

Now for my question. Why is it that everytime Tommy Boy grabs his bright red jacket to zip into "action" he always seems to lose it somewhere before he arrives? I could be wrong, but I think I'm seeing a pattern here.
