Several eagle-eyed comic fans have spotted the title of DC's next animated film on the back cover of the Amazon.com Exclusive Blu-Ray edition of
Batman: Under the Red Hood.

Recent internet chatter revolves around the assumption the title itself may hint at the debut of either Darkseid or Supergirl. There is no official word from Warner Bros. entertainment which comics story line the movie will follow, if any. This will be the fourth animated film highlighting a Superman and Batman team-up. Speculation as to this latest film's plot will be put to rest come July 27th, 2010, when
Batman: Under the Red Hood becomes available for purchase.
DC Entertainment has two animated short films already planned,
Jonah Hex and
Green Arrow, which will accompany their full length features. There is also a rumored
Batman: Year One adaptation in the works.
