James Gunn promised that the DC Studios slate would be revealed in January, and even though he kept us waiting until the very last minute, most fans seem to agree it was worth it.
While we still have a handful of DCEU-era movies to get through in 2023, the DCU looks set to kick off next year, and whether you're a casual fan of the big-name characters or an expert on all things DC, Gunn and Peter Safran have definitely covered all possible bases. Excitingly, that's the case both on film and television.
We recently asked you to cast your votes and share which of these upcoming "Chapter 1: Gods and Monsters" projects you're most excited about.
Thousands of you made your feelings known and it's time to reveal which of these DCU movies and TV shows you, ComicBookMovie.com's awesome readers, singled out as the most highly anticipated. Are you ready? Yes, as we should have probably predicted, Superman: Legacy took the top spot!
New Batman movie The Brave and the Bold wasn't too far behind, while Laterns came in at third place (or #1 among the DCU TV shows). The biggest talking point, however, may be the fact Waller was a distant last. Something tells us many of you are unhappy that the only DCEU actors confirmed for the DCU are those from Gunn's The Suicide Squad!
Then again, an argument could be made that it is the least exciting project here, especially as the rest feel like something new rather than more of the same (it sounds a lot like Peacemaker season 1.5).
