The Michael Bay-produced
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has been filming all over the New York City area. A week ago in Chinatown they shot scenes of people running for their lives from a subway station. Today, a video has surfaced from that scene and it includes April O'Neil (Megan Fox) slowly creeping into the frame. One might speculate that the people were frightened of a large-assed turtle walking and talking, but that is just a logical guess. As for today, Raphael (Alan Ritchson) blended in with New Yorkers by walking around Times Square as though he was man in a Turtle suit. He even posed for a photo with a curious little boy.
NINJA TURTLES will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman ("Wrath of the Titans"), and produced by Michael Bay ("The Rock"). The script was written by Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec, based on characters created by Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The cast includes: Megan Fox as April O'Neil, Alan Ritchson as Raphael, Noel Fisher as Michelangelo, Danny Woodburn as Splinter, Jeremy Howard as Donatello, Pete Ploszek as Leonardo, and Will Arnett as April's cameraman. It lands in theaters June 6th, 2014.
