The CW Adds Another Three Minutes To The Pilot Episode Of THE FLASH
The CW have announced today that the pilot episode of The Flash will run for a little longer than expected with an additional three minutes added to its running time. Why? Could they have filmed something in secret for the episode similar to Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Nick Fury cameo?
Well, this is...intriguing! An updated schedule sent out by The CW today revealed that they've added three minutes to the series premiere of The Flash. That means that Supernatural fans will have to wait a little longer for season ten's debut as the Scarlet Speedster arrives in his own series at 8pm with that show now set to follow at 9.03pm. There's no word as to what this extra few minutes will contain; an after-credits scene similar to how Nick Fury showed up in an early episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. last year? A new trailer looking ahead to the rest of season one? Some extra scenes which have been shot since the pilot leaked? We'll have to wait and see! What do you guys think? After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.
