THE FLASH (2014 TV SERIES): The Identity Of THE REVERSE FLASH!

My theory regarding the Reverse Flash in the CW's highly anticipated ARROW spin-off, titled THE FLASH...

The Reverse Flash is the arch-nemesis of The Flash, the Rogues aside. Because there are several heroes who have taken on the identity of The Flash, each has their own Reverse Flash.

With the casting of Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne in the upcoming Flash TV Series on the CW, speculation immediately began that Eddie Thawne is actually Eobard Thawne, AKA Professor Zoom, The Reverse Flash and nemesis of Barry Allen (at least before his apparent death in Flashpoint).

Here's what I believe regarding the CW's interpretation of The Reverse Flash:

The Reverse Flash will show up as a recurring villain in the series. We are going to be lead to believe that Eddie Thawne is the RF. However, near the end of the first season there will be a startling revelation that Thawne is innocent and The Reverse Flash is actually one of the others (Edward Clariss, Hunter Zolomon, Inertia, Pollux, or Daniel West).

Why do I believe this? Think back to Arrow. How many times have been led to believe the identity of a certain character is someone other than the actual person? This happened with The Dark Archer, Deathstroke, Speedy, Black Canary, ETC. If Eddie Thawne were actually the Reverse Flash, I'm sure they would have actually called him Eobard.

Welcome, I am Darkknight2149. I am primarily a fan of comic books and their various adaptations, as well as horror and other classic film franchises.

As far as the "DC vs. Marvel" rivalry goes, I'm really not biased when it comes to studios and publishers. Preferences are fine, but I've never understood the basing of opinions purely by the studio/publisher that makes it.
