There are dozens of options of what to watch today. However, with all this controversy surounding "The Interview", I am wondering how you, my fellow CBMer is planing to spend the holidays. Canceling "The Interview" was considered a loss in the first battle of the international "Cyber Wars". But now it's being released in limited theaters, google play, and youtube movies (and torrent sites if you're into that sort of thing). So, how are you going to show that you are an AMERICAN!?
The Interview
By watching this movie, some people may believe that they are giving a giant "F. U." to North Korea. I watched it last night, and I have to say, while it is funny, it did not deserve that much publicity. Albiet, it wasn't good publicity, but then again, any publicity is good publicity. So, now people around America can go into a theater that is showing the movie, or rent it for $4.99/$5.99 online. What better way to show that you are an American than by seeing the movie that communisim hates?
American Sniper
The movie has the word "American" in it. It is directed by Clint Eastwood. It stars Bradley Cooper as a soldier. And it has an American Flag on the poster. This movie screams America. It is one of the best reviewed films of the season, so I wouldn't blame you for showing your patriotism by watching this movie!
Annie
The movie based on the musical set during the Great Depression about the American Dream. This movie is a remake of an American classic, with a modern update of course. Why not watch orphans get their American Dream on the day that is all about giving?
Into The Woods
What's more American than Mickey Mouse?? This Disney movie is a great way to spend the holidays with the kids. It is the best reviewed movie of the season, and is based on stories. It is the second musical coming out today, after Annie, so if you want to relive the old days and watch a Disney musical, this movie is for you!
Now, of course you have many more options than these. There are many movies coming out today, but as long as you are enjoying your holiday, you are doing Christmas right. Hell, you could watch "24 Hours of A Christmas Story" all day, as long as you are happy, I am happy. So, Happy Holidays, and click on the red thumb if you enjoyed the read!
