We are all well aware of Marvel's upcoming
THOR film directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Chris Hemsworth. Many fans are not aware of the fact that Asylum, a company known for it's mockbuster films, has already started filming
The Almighty Thor in Los Angeles. This straight to DVD film is set to hit stores April 26th, not too long before Marvel's
THOR hits theaters.
Chris Ray who has already directed
Mega Shark vs. Crocosaurus for Asylum is at the helm as director for the film. Legendary professional wrestler Kevin Nash (Big Sexy) is portraying Odin Thors father and Richard Greico (best known as the star of 21 Jump Street and a number of B movies) is set to bring Thor's brother Loki to life. Newcomer Cody Deal is starring as the thunder god himself, Thor. Other cast members include Patricia Velasquez and Nicole Fox.
