Stan Lee's Cameo for Marvel's Thor Revealed?

Fan Boy has given an awesome possible spoiler, that involves a sequence with Thor's hammer, and Stan "the Man" Lee.

Marvel's Thor, gearing up the final weeks of filming, has been slow on news, with most of the attention going to ol' Shellhead for Iron Man 2. Well, now FanBoy has posted something that everyone should enjoy or hate.

Stan Lee stated recently that has already filmed his occasional cameo for Marvel's Norse adaption. And, FanBoy claims a person from the set of “Thor” has given them a description of his cameo in the film.

- Possible Spoilers Warning -

Thor’s hammer ( Mjolnir ) is found in the middle of a road somewhere inside a crater by the army. The Army try’s to remove it but can’t because it’s way too heavy. They decide to bring in a truck to help. The army men tie Thor’s hammer to the back of the truck with chains hoping to pull it of the road. The truck driver accelerates to pull the Hammer. The back half of the truck falls apart from the front and the front keeps going. Finally, there’s a focus on the driver it reviled to be Comic Legion Stan Lee.

- End Spoilers -

This sounds like a very interesting sequence. I was told personally that there would be a funny scene in the film, involving the army and the hammer. There is no other source to this, so you can believe it, or take it with a grain of salt.

"The Army try’s* to remove it but can’t because it’s way too heavy."

i'm not buying this either. if was buying it it would sound terrible. but, i'm going off that w/ no context. sounds like a scene from some god-awful b-movie starring shannon tweed.

Doubtful. But if worked around a bit, I suppose it could POSSIBLY work? Maybe? I doubt it, though.

So this is what it would be like. The hammer would be like a meteor coming to earth, and create a crater like this.

Like the idea of the unliftable hammer in the middle of a crater, but the Stan Lee part is crap. If that's how it happens, I will be disappointed, unless they use CGI to make him look 40-ish, which would be the next evolution in CGI. Heh.

@marvelfreshman: that picture is EPIC!!! yeah, i'm bringing a word i hate BACK baby! i can see Marvel is really breaking the bank in regards to the special effects on this movie. i hope Mjolnir looks EXACTLY like that!

better yet, i hope it looks like this:

wouldn't it be sweet if one of the Hammer Bros makes a cameo? no? you're crazy whoever you are!

Well, the part about the Army and the hammer sounds funny, but that Stan Lee cameo is kind of rediculous IMO. I've seen some really old dudes in the Army reserve, but nobody who was as old as Stan.

I can believe gods and hammers falling from the sky but not 80 year olds in the Army. C'mon, now!

Solo,

suck a dick, lame. i didn't even read the post. i just read the headline and commented. i don't give a [frick] what his cameo is, i'd rather see it in the movie. i'm not one of these losers who needs to know every single thing about a movie before it comes out. that's pretty corny to me.

Lol, calling me a dick because I'm re-aiming your question hm? Instead of clicking on articles that you claim to not care about and commenting on sections asking stupid questions, you should actually contribute to an article you DO find interesting and leave this one alone. Dick.

OK, I believe in Thunder Gods, but not military trucks snapping in half.
This doesn't sound like a Branagh film!
