UPDATED: "Leaked" Thor Script - READ AT YOUR OWN RISK

I have come across with what is apparently a leaked copy of the Thor script. I cannot confirm whether the script is real or not, but just in case I am warning you that this review has a few spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Earlier today on the chat, some stranger popped out of nowhere and posted a link to download what was apparently a leaked Thor script. I valiantly volunteered to download, as everyone feared it might have been a computer virus. To my shock, it really was a script for Thor. I am not sure as to the validity of the script, but it certainly coincides with the spoilers that DCMFreshman posted a while ago as well as the leaked Comic Con footage and official trailer. If it's a fake, it's a pretty damn good fake.

The script itself is pretty epic. The writer captured the essence of every character perfectly. The arrogance of Thor, the trickery of Loki, the vanity of Fandral, the lovable and ever so hungry nature of Volstagg, the broodiness of Hogun, the courage of Sif, and the godliness of Odin. The script was definitely written by someone who is a fan of these characters and knows them well. There is no way anyone will be disappointed by the characterizations of these characters. Here's an example...

UPDATE: This review of the alleged "leaked" Thor script has been removed at the request of Paramount Pictures. They will neither confirm or deny the validity of what Gaston has reviewed here. So, those of you who were able to get a peek will have to decide for yourselves whether it was legit.

i'm exceptionally skeptical of this script because everyone from Fiege to Branaugh to Hemsworth have stated that Thor will NOT be speaking in ye olde English.

that doesn't make this script not worth looking at. at the most, this is a fan boy's dream. and it is some incredible fan fic.

but i guess we'll have to wait for May to find out!

Skeptical but still excited. After downloading and reading myself, it is a very well written script whether fake or not. It is worth a read if anyone is not afraid of the fact it MAY be true and may spoil the movie for you. I for one feel Thor is going to be fantastic if this script is in fact real. Read and become a true believer lol!

that was cool. The script is too good for a fake. It may have been an official script that was later redacted or replaced by another. This could just be the first of the "final" drafts and then they scrapped the old english. They did say he would have some level accent and unique tone and it is not completely old english.

I'll just hold off on reading it because if it is real I don't want to ruin the surprise at the theater. I hope its just as good or better than this linked version (which people seem to like).

Initially I assumed the script was fake. But now Paramount have requested the review be removed, i'm not so sure

MMmmm. I think I'll actually pass on this one. Kinda wan't to be surprised, although I'm sure there won't be any escaping the spoilers once all of you have read it! Gonna just assume it's real since the studios don't generally ask for fake scripts to be removed. They wait until practically everyone has already read the real ones, then ask. Genius.

Nooooo!!! Ah, I can't believe I missed it. :P Oh well. I've never really had the patience to read entire scripts (overviews or novelisations are more my thing) but I'm ok with waiting...I'd like there to be some surprises come April 29th. Great stuff though Gaston!

I'm not surprised they asked you to stop sending it, i'm surprised it took this long. If as many people on here got as it seems they have, that script is everywhere by now...

Seriously can't wait for this movie. Kenneth Branagh is an awesome director with a great eye for the actors. Short of the wonderful people at Marvel stepping all over it, I don't see how this can be messed up.
Er... not so sure about Captain America. Chris Evans is a modern-classic actor and I've no doubt he'll be superb but Joe Johnston directing? Jurassic Park III, The Wolfman and The Rocketeer were a load of crusty old poo

Paramount must have gotten to the powers that be at CBM because my request was deleted from the thread. If a movie studio has that kind of stroke, just think what big brother is gonna start doing.
