According to GeekWeek.com Victoria's Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will replace Megan Fox in the upcoming Michael Bay film Transformers 3.

So they take out an actress who can't act, and replace her with a model with what I am assuming is a resume with no acting experience at all? (Assuming this story is true). How about just finding a better actress than Fox? Lord knows there are plenty of them.

Just looked up her bio, shes never acted in ANYTHING before, and I mean ANYTHING. She is apparently dating Jason Statham for the record, sorry guys (she isnt married, her natural born name has the hyphine in it)

@claybo: I agree with your assessments however If you watched The Private Lives of Pippa Lee,you'd see that with a good script Blake Lively CAN ACT(plus she won't have that much screentime in GL anyway considering that alot of time in the film will take place in outer space). Also you gotta admit that Superman Returns problem was more with Bryan Singer's script and direction than Bosworth even though it did add a little salt to the wound.

Anyway,I also heard that Katie Cassidy is a frontrunner according to other sources and I hope that she gets the part instead of this chick just because I don't see the point in having the same type of love interest in a film.

Why do they need to replace Megan Fox? Why can't they just create a new character? Maybe Carly from the cartoon? The one Spike/Sam grew up to marry??? Geez, Bay is a dork. He can blow stuff up real pretty like, but he is terrible at the who writing thing. You know, the important part of the story.

Lets give her a chance. You may never know she may may have a hidden talent in acting or her role maybe that short. Now let's clarify one thing, what do they mean by "replace". Will Rosie took over the role of Megan Fox or is she going to be cast as an entirely new character and have Magan's character killed off. I'm more in favor of the latter since she obviously looks different from Megan.

This may all just be a marketing gimick. I think studios have started working in these dramas to get more attention for the movie ever since the death of heath ledger made batman2 a bazillion dollars

u cant compare death of heath ledger starring in TDK to replacing a characters in Michael Bay Transformers.

heath ledger last movie was "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus" that did not make billions. what about Michael Jackson "This Is It" that movie was market everywhere but that movie did not make billions.

oh please tell me she just has a cameo or some small non speaking part like in the background or on the arm of another actor, just kill off the Mikaela Banes character and do without another love interest please. movie is suppose to be about big robots fighting, the sam character is more then enough to add the human element, please debunk this or find out she is an extra or something, she is hot just like megan fox is hot but neither are needed for this film. maybe he is just casting her to get in her pants or something jeeez.

B. I find this whole thing to be pretty hypocritical. All these people out there are acting like it's such a good thing that Megan Fox isn't in the movie "because she can't act and she's just a pretty face." Now what are they doing? They're looking for another random hottie to replace her. What purpose will this character serve? Is she the new Mikaela (sp?) If not, how are they going to explain why Mik. is gone. She went through 2 alien robot attacks with Sam and then they just break up? Anyway, like I said way back in my take on Batman, I find it ridiculous that almost every movie feels the need to force romance into a story, like it's impossible to have a story without it. How about just not replacing Megan. Or better yet, why don't they make a Transformers movie that's actually centered on the Transformers themselves as the main characters? Who doesn't think something like this would turn out better than what they're probably going to do?



They could easilly make something like that as a prequel to the movies they have done. There's an actual interesting story there!

Seriously, what crack are most of you on? This girl is hot, yes, but I'd toss her ass over a cliff for Fox. Megan is WAY hotter. Period.

I'm a little confused though. For one, I thought megan's character was stronger in the movie than shia, but if taking it in a new direction means getting rid of his leading lady....only to replace her with a new piece of eye candy....why get rid of her at all?

Just keep her in the movie, because frankly, I think it needs her to make up for shia and the rest of the cr@p stain human cast. Especially the comic relief...

We dont actually know if she can act or not, because its not like a unknown actor/actress has ever been good in their first movie, yeah thats never happened. (i say sarcastically). I say give her a chance, if she sucks then what difference will it make, so does most of the cast anyway.
