Season Four of The Walking Dead ended with Rick and the group outgunned, outnumbered, and trapped in a train car awaiting a grim fate. Season Five picks up shortly thereafter. What follows is a story that weaves the true motives of the people of Terminus with the hopeful prospect of a cure in Washington, D.C., the fate of the group’s lost comrades, as well as new locales, new conflicts, and new obstacles in keeping the group together and staying alive. Stories will break apart and intersect. The characters will find love and hate. Peace and conflict. Contentment and terror. And, in the quest to find a permanent, safe place to call home, one question will haunt them… After all they’ve seen, all they’ve done, all they’ve sacrificed, lost, and held on to no matter what the cost... Who do they become?

The Walking Dead stars: Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Laurie Holden, Jeffrey DeMunn, Scott Wilson, Emily Kinney, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs, Norman Reedus, Iron E. Singleton, Madison Lintz, Danai Gurira, Melissa Suzanne McBride, Michael Rooker, Lauren Cohan, Vincent M. Ward, Chad L. Coleman, Brighton Sharbino, Kyla Kenedy, Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. and David Morrissey.

Is all the attention on Abraham's hand some foreshadowing from the comics?
Yes or No only please :)

glad they finally are edging toward the saviors..the "we should get bikes" reference was painfully obvious what's coming up soon

when that happens...this will skyrocket back into my first place ranking of tv shows (right now at numero tres)

The walkers are not even a real threat anymore. Killer Bees would add more tension. Walking Dead zombies are the pussiest of all zombies. I'd like to see the zombie virus mutate and fresh zombies retain more agility and have deadlier instincts such as not just letting people stab their heads.
Or maybe they could turn this into a Killer Bee show.

The zombies have been nothing more than background even in the comics.

And the episode was amazing, I thought all the Eugene storyline wouldn't work on TV but it was good

Nothing that I remember. I thought it was more about the flashbacks.

Maybe they could have zombie dogs! Or zombie bees! Or zombie dogs and when they bark they shoot zombie bees at you!

@TomSolo How about shit-monsters? People aren't afraid of bats or snakes. They are afraid of shit. So giant shit-monsters that are expelling fart gas and if they bite you, you turn into a shit-monster.

Bruce Wayne should've realized people fear shit and he should fight crime in a shit covered suit. Criminals would really run from him.

Also, I find it very lame that AMC is trying to scare me again with upcoming contract negotiations with Directv. In case you don't have Directv, when Directv customers watch the Walking Dead now, AMC has special commercials directed at us that tell us to call Directv and tell them to give AMC whatever it wants. Either way, I am going to end up paying more. Funny, because between the insane prices for Directv (or cable alternative), terrible customer service and AMC's criminal amount of commercials, they are driving me to cancel my service and watch all of my shows for free on the Innerwebs. What a business plan!

@mandeth... That's a great point. I REALLY hate poop. It's why I don't have a pet. Heck, the first time I changed a diaper I almost threw up right on the poor child. As far as your new bat suit, I think he would have a hard time keeping his secret as Bruce Wayne, since he would always smell like poo.

These episodes in this season get exponentially better and better.

I kept waiting for him to say "I'm not a scientist" since I first heard him open his mouth about the science.

I actually preferred last week's to this one. I like Beth more than Eugene and Abraham combined...bloody boring characters if you ask me. And yeah the lie coming out was the highlight of the ep...2 mins before the end. The rest was the same old shit.

Without reading the comic, I knew when we first saw Eugene he was lying. That stupid f*cking look on his face coupled with the mullet were a dead give away. "Once again I am smarter than you..." was not the best choice of words Eugene. Its funny because he says it twice like nothing was gonna happen. Abraham probably killed him btw. Nose right up in the brain. Can't say he didn't deserve it for being a lying d*ck bag, sabotaging the vehicles and talking sh*t in general.

I'm loving that the show is sticking to the comics. I don't watch adaptations for something new, I like seeing what I've read translated into reality. This season-minus [frick]ing Daryl-has stuck as close as it can given that Dale is already dead. I just want to see The Alexandria Safe Zone SOOO bad. It lulled as an arc in terms of action until the end, but the character dynamics were so amazingly switched up. I normally don't watch 22 episode shows any more but I make an exception for TWD.

Good episode. I don't know how they're gonna be able to do the Saviors, I think that arc is too violent for cable TV.
