I always thought Harvey Dent and Bruce Wayne were the same age (or close to it).

This show sucks.

I guess Batman is younger than all of his villains? That makes sense. This show is trying way to hard and achieving very little imo.

With Nightwing not apparently in BvS, I found this year old article while searching around about him.

So most of batman's main foes are 20+ years older than him?

@TheDudeRusty Never thought that much. Usually when the villains were introduced in the comics, Bruce had already grown up so to see them introduced when Bruce is that young makes it stick out like a sore thumb.

It's more like around 10 years in the show and they're admittedly taking liberties.

of all the dumbass things you could do... this is so dumb, how are you going to intro all of Batmans villains before he even comes around?? have Harvey in the show as a boy with an abusive alcoholic father that Bruce befriends, is that so god damn hard?! but ono, instead you have Catwoman fill that role very unnecessarily, smh these people needed to study the timeline a little better than this.

The age difference between Batman and his villains has irked me from day one of this show. I like the concept of a Gotham Central TV series but, if you have all these characters, Two Face, Riddler, Penguin, why not have Batman fighting them instead of a young Commissioner Gordon played by the guy from The OC? I don't necessarily think that this a bad show but it's pretty much a wasted opportunity. And saying that they don't want casual audiences to get confused by a TV Batman and a movie Batman is BS to me, after all we have two Flashes now.

relentless1 - 10/21/2014, 11:17 AM
its pretty simple really:

OLDER THAN BRUCE: Freeze, Riddler (could go either way), Penguin, Ras (obviously), Mad hatter, Ventriloquist, Joker (could go either way), Scarecrow, Commissioner Gordon, Alfred, Maroni, Falcone

AROUND THE SAME AGE AS BRUCE: Catwoman, Poison Ivy, Two Face, Bane, Hush, Harvey Bullock, Montoya

is that so damn hard to do??

I personally dont believe they have to have every famous Batman villain in this show. Then have them all about 15 to 20 yrs older than him is even more ridiculous. How does it look having a young Batman beating the crap out of an old Penguin? Its like if we all started to abuse Gusto. That wouldn't be a fair fight.

"I guess Batman is younger than all of his villains?"

No wonder he always win.

So when Batman grows up the majority of his rogue gallery will be old and retired? Awesome.
