It was recently announced that
Arrow would be coming to an end. The show is like the first
Iron Man film to The Marvel Cinematic Universe, in that it inspired so many other stories to be told for other characters.
As such, it was expected that Oliver Queen had to leave at some point, but it seems like the announcement may have bothered fans as sister show
The Flash was seemingly affected and received its all time lowest amount of viewers yet. The episode titled "Failure Is An Orphan" was true to its name, only bringing in a .5 rating in the demographic of viewers The CW looking for, which is 18-49.
It is important to note that
The Flash has already been renewed for season 6, and CW isn't a huge stickler for ratings, so the show isn't leaving us anytime soon. Also, with the upcoming Crisis On Infinite Earths event that the shows are planning to utilize for the next crossover, it is quite possible that Barry could step in to be the new tentpole character in the... Flash-verse?
We just hope
Legends of Tomorrow is also safe
. What do you think will happen? Be sure to watch
The Flash this week to figure out what's up with Godspeed, and so, you know, it won't get cancelled.
