Events took an interesting turn in tonight's episode of The Flash, but things look set to get even crazier next week when Gorilla Grodd bring an army to Earth-1 in a bid to take over his old home. Common sense says he won't succeed, but the Scarlet Speedster and company are still clearly going to have one heckuva fight on their hands if they hope to stop him.

THE EPIC CONCLUSION TO THE TWO-PART BATTLE WITH GRODD – When Grodd (voiced by David Sobolov) and his army of gorillas bring the battle to Earth-1, The Flash (Grant Gustin) and team must find a way to stop them before they destroy Central City. Gypsy (guest star Jessica Camacho) returns to join the fight. Meanwhile, Jesse Quick (guest star Violett Beane) decides she wants to stay with Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) on Earth-1. Dermott Downs directed the episode with story by Todd Helbing and teleplay by Benjamin Raab & Deric A. Hughes.

@NinnesMBC - Yeah, and it's all gorilla grunts. One of them is singing 500 miles though. It's weird.

wow, loved the episode, but got really annoyed that they got keith david for solovar's voice but kept having him speak through cisco so as not to show solovar standing RIGHT THERE. i guess the budget for the fight took a toll on other scenes, huh?

@thomashilfiger - because of these 2 episodes, it wouldnt surprise me if both barry and wally "lost their speed" for most of the rest of the season to save money XD
