While Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) and company deal with their recent string of bad luck, it looks like The Thinker (Neil Sandilands) will be putting the next step of his dastardly plan in motion.

The CW has released a batch of new photos, which gives us a new look at the menacing villain as well as a first look at the meta of the week, Hazard (Sugar-Lyn Beard). We're also given a preview of a tender scene between Barry and Iris (Candice Patton) along with multiple shots of a depressed Team Flash.

Check out fourteen new photos from episode three, titled "Luck Be A Lady," below:

"Luck Be a Lady" - (8:00-9:00 p.m. ET) (TV-PG, LV) (HDTV)

DC COMICS' CHARACTER HAZARD COMES TO PLAY IN CENTRAL CITY - Barry (Grant Gustin) and the team are hit by a string of bad luck and realize it is the handiwork of a new meta, Becky (guest star Sugar-Lyn Beard) nicknamed Hazard, who has the ability to give others bad luck, while cashing in the benefits for herself. Meanwhile, Harry Wells (Tom Cavanagh) returns to Earth-1 to give Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) a message from Jesse. Armen V. Kevorkian directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Judalina Neira (#403). Original airdate 10/24/2017.

Last season, Barry Allen aka The Flash used his extraordinary abilities to travel back in time and save his mother’s life, and inadvertently created an alternate timeline known as Flashpoint. The phenomenon not only gave birth to the villainous God of Speed known as Savitar, but changed the lives of Caitlin Snow and Wally West forever. With the help of his adoptive father, Detective Joe West, his fiancée Iris West, and his friends at S.T.A.R. Labs – Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells -- Barry continues to protect the people of Central City from the meta-humans that threaten it. But first, he’ll have to escape the Speed Force – an extra-dimensional entity teeming with unknown dangers – that Barry sacrificed himself to in order to save Central City.

The Flash features:
Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash
Candice Patton as Iris West
Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Carlos Valdes as Cisco Ramon/Vibe
Tom Cavanagh as Dr. Harrison Wells
Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West
John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick
Michelle Harrison as Nora Allen
Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash
Violett Beane as Jesse Quick
Tom Felton as Julian Dorn
Neil Sandilands as Clifford DeVoe/The Thinker

This show forces so much romance on us, and none of it works. Barry and Iris was decent at first, but with Iris on a battle rage lately, it's simply annoying.

Cisco and Gypsy needs its limits too.

This show makes me shout at the screen. Iris is all, "Why did you leave me!?!" and I'm shouting "TO SAVE YOUR LIFE AND THOUSANDS OF OTHERS, BEEYATCH!!"
I'm digging the Thinker, but I really miss the mystery of past seasons. The only big mystery here is what does Thinker want?

@rabid - You're forgetting the mystery behind the 11 other metas under his control AS WELL as how they got powers when they seemingly weren't in Central City during the accident.

And honestly, after last season and the poorly executed second half of season 2, I'm happy they're not trying to keep the big bad a secret for all season.

I don't watch this show anymore after season 3, but the Thinker looks like Brainiac.

@IronMandarin - Yeah, after seeing the Thinker's costume, I'm kinda convinced they could pull off a good CW-version of Brainiac.

Why in the hell shoild Iris be in charge again? It makes no sense story wise and it's annoying as hell. Go back to the reporter angle with her and give her informants in various government institutions, while Joe handles the informants on the streets. FLASH should be in charge of damn team flash.

The Flash is one of my fav shows - but man, I think the sappy romance is killing it little by little for me. I've started a drinking game - every time someone storms off mad and someone says "I'll talk to him\her" - shot. You can almost see it coming 2 or 3 times an episode!

@Battabing - Seriously!!! I thought there was going to be some subplot about Wally trying to be more like Barry, or Barry's hair gained sentience in the speed force and is starting to reproduce or something. It had the same effect to me, as if Barry suddenly got a high top fro, with no explanation and nobody in the show addresses it the whole episode.
