It'll be interesting to see where HBO's
Game Of Thrones takes the character of Sansa Stark, given that her story arc in the show has all but caught up to the source novels now. We did get an idea of how much she's grown from the frightened, placid child we first met, when she covered for Littlefinger's murder of her Aunt Lysa towards the end of season 4, expertly manipulating his accusers in the process. Now while talking to the Wrap at SDCC, actress Sophie Turner says we can expect to see her continue to "play the game".
“Now she's kind of in the position where Baelish isn't overly sure what Sansa is about. He doesn't know why she stuck up for him, but he's kind of realizing that she's a great manipulator. She's not this vulnerable young girl anymore. She's also realized that she can manipulate him through other means. Now she realizes his weakness is her and her mother, she's going to try to play out her sexuality as much as she can to manipulate him.”
