We'll probably get another full trailer for Game of Thrones before the season 8 premiere on April 14, but in the meantime, HBO has released a brief TV promo featuring a few snippets of new footage.

The first shot teases a reunion between Jon Snow and Arya Stark, who haven't actually laid eyes on each other since Jon gave his little sister Needle all the way back at the beginning of the first season. Of course, Arya is far from the wide-eyed innocent Snow left behind in Winterfell all that time ago. Then again, Jon has undergone a few big changes himself!

The promo also reuses some footage from the first trailer, but there is new dialogue from Samwell, Jon and Jaime Lannister. Check it out below, and let us know if you're looking forward to the final season of Game of Thrones in the comments.

I’m confused, did they move up the release date a week or has it always been April 14th?

Holy shit, I absolute assumed this was going to be some sort of April Fools prank, though I opened it anyway for a what the hell. I can't believe there's a legit shot in there. I mean I figured they waited so long to give us a real trailer, I took for granted they wouldn't drop a second more footage before it actually begins.

though as much as the majority of fans might have Jon & Arya be slightly at the top of anticipated reunions (I'm hype too, but my favorite overall is Bran & Jaime) I remember seeing some production talk recently warning fans to not get their hopes of TOO much. It obviously will happen and have some emotion to it, but you also have to take into account how much both of them have changed since the start, especially Arya. She's not going to instantly revert to a little girl the moment she sees him.
It will most certainly be more heartfelt than Jon & Sansa's reunion was, but that's not a VERY high bar to clear, all things considered.
