C.H.U.D. reports that Billy Crudup could be filling the role of Dr. Manhattan in the WATCHMEN film.

Zack Snyder's take on Watchmen is coming soon and casting rumors from an anonymous source say Crudup would be Dr. Manhattan. The superpowered character is a scientist who reconstructs himself into a big naked blue flowting demigod after being annihilated on an atomic level.

C.H.U.D. also reports that more WATCHMEN announcments should be coming from Comic-Con at the end of the month.
