I went to the midnight showing of watchmen. And I was blown away. This movie probably had the best opening scene ever. I liked how some scenes where identical to panels of graphic novel. Overall it was really good movie and the question it it is better than the dark knight i say it is a tie.
I give this movie a A+

And those people who say that they are disappointed or that this movie blows obviously doesn't know a good movie when they see it. And for those other people mad that its not the exactly the same as the book. Well guess what if they made it exactly the same why would you go see the movie. might as well read the book again instead.

This is a pretty weak review. It's fairly juvenile to say something like "those people who say that they are disappointed or that this movie blows obviously doesn't know a good movie when they see it".

Opinions on film(just like any art) is purely subjective. The only time criticism or praise is appropriate and works is when it's backed up. You sir, make no case whatsoever as to why you think this is "one of the best movies I ever see"[sic]. Not only do you not provide any reason why you enjoyed it you also make ignorant statements.

Try a little harder next time.

I just got back from it and absolutely loved it, and yes the opening scene/credits were great, bob dylans song set the mood so good, as a matter of fact I was almost reduced to tears out of joy

watchmen was boring. well, all things mr. manhattan was boring.. extremely boring. a f-ing snoozefest. fights scenes (the very few) were incredible. and visually is was great.

the whole story was castrated. The whole rape thing, gone. millions of dead bodies all over new york, gone. Many other details were changed. A lot of scenes could have been cut (Sex scene, over used slow motion) in favor of other things (Black freighter) all in all it looked nice but took away most of the substance.

by the way the movie was anything but boring. maybe InFamous should have taken his nap before it started.

infamous i disagree with you on manhattan, i loved the way he was portrayed, sure he did have a monotone, but it really showed that he has lost touch with humanity and that he dosen't care much for the human existance

look a the big picture, no one person will like this movie after they have read the book. the movie was a little slow at times and yes you can't put every little detail in a movie like that. monotone? yes that is how he was once you have all that power, losing touch with humanity is a effect of that. i will give the movie 3 stars no more.

Hey buddy never ever compare Batman and Watchmen to eachother. They're completely different stories and totally different characters.
