Bad movie. It should never have been done.

I went to see it and it was a horrible waste of time, bad acting, the special effects where not good, specially the ones with doctor m. and not to mention that it shows millions of people in new jork getting kill thats just bad taste man seriously do we really need more movies showing tragic events happening in New Jork?, it disgust me how other people have fun watching the tragedy of others its just sick. Anyway even with out the horrible anding it stil was a bad movie, if you have not seen it yet and still want to watch it than wait for it to oome out on dvd. even then it would not be worth it.

CBM Comment: New Jork? Is this a joke review that makes fun of puerto ricans? Come on people! Take pride in your writing abilities. Spelling, grammar and punctuation are important.

Just another dude tring to be first with his post and not proofreading. I see it in every article not written by the CBM crew. At least they proofread their posts. Or maybe he speaks with an accent, and also spells with one.

I can't respect a review where a big problem is "that it shows millions of people in new jork getting kill thats just bad taste man seriously do we really need more movies showing tragic events happening in New Jork?"

Movies have never been in good taste, and if they were, they'd be dull. You'd prefer if they all held hands at the end and rode into the sunset? I was going to go off on a tangent there, but I think you get the idea.

You silly Jork, you!

Seriously...has this person even READ Watchmen!?

Does he/she not know that this was how it's SUPPOSED to end.

and how can he say the effects suck. Apparently he/she hasn't seen the pictures of Dr. M's face. So much detail in a computerized image...I mean, seriously, they even went into so much detail, they computerized his penis through the whole movie. lol.

This movie has kick ass effects....this writer is a punk....didn't even show who he/she was. just another nameless contributor.

This review is fail for sure. I got two sentences in before my brain cells started exploding. This is so bad, it makes me hope its a joke intended to elicit responses from so many people.

F*ck this kid in his face, I'm sure 'Batman & Robin' is his ideal comic book movie.

Yeah sounds pretty shallow in the gene pool. He's basically saying he can't handle images that remind him of 9/11 because he's been so manipulated by the event by the bush administration and the rest of the media and that he can't handle seeing a man's penis. (closes his eyes when he pees or battles the cyclops) Another one of the kind of reviewers that make me more hopeful. Idiots should not like this movie, and their negative reactions show it hurts their brains, if it didn't it would be a failure.

I think this is supermikes review. You notice how all the negative reviews are 1 or 2 sentences? While the positive ones go into so much more depth?

I'm starting to think it's supermike, too.

I mean, he hasn't even attempted to comment on this...cuz if it weren't his review, he would be all over this.

Not only do i have serious doubt that this guy has seen the movie at all, I'm almost 100% positive he's even read the book. Based on his "MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IN NEW YORK BEING KILLED IS JUST BAD TASTE" shows his serious lack on knowledge of the book

Okay dudes!!! It's OBVIOUS that this review was written by Supermike. There is no question about it. Stop wondering. 1- He complained about something we all love, 2- what he said didn't make sense and 3- the spelling pretty much labeled him out! In my book, that equals "Supermike". deaditeminion is right! He probably didn't even SEE the damn movie to begin with let alone READ the [frick]in book. He just wrote about what he already knew of the story and what he could get from the trailers. This is beyond pathetic. His title alone has bad spelling. It should have said "sucked" or "sucks", not "suck".

What's wierd in this case is CBM's comment. They should already know that it was him and that he can't spell worth shit.

Oh shit, a typo!!!! That's [frick]in new! Get over yourselves, you tools. The fact of the matter is the movie was pretty terrible. I'll let the unbearably cliche dialogue fly, since it's an oldish comic book and the dialogue was probably cheesy in it, too. But oh, come on. Please look past the subjective fact that it's an adaptation of your beloved Watchmen, which I will grant might have been good, and that as a movie on its own, it blows hard. The sex scene even began with a bom chika wow wow-esque song. There's probably a more concise way to bash this movie, but [frick] that. And I take back not criticizing the dialogue: "We can do so much more. We can save this world... with the right leadership." "It doesn't take a genius to see the world has problems." "We can save this world." "It doesn't take a genius to see the world has problems." I hope your graphic novel's better than this. Enough said.

"dont criticize what you cant understand" All the music had a reason for being there, What you consider cheesy many consider nessecary. (id love to hear some of your favorite movies, not all the dialogue can be thought provoking,,a certain amount of exposition is needed in a movie)..if you didnt like the movie thats fine but at least give some decent reasons instead of saying you didnt like A song and repeating lines of the same dialogue for no reason...enough said eh? Its a pity you barely said anything.

yea bob dylan!!
Look the only thing about this movie that was good was the soundtrack, though I don't agree with the way this user reviewed it, he/she is right. This was a terrible movie, the special effects were not that great, take a look at when dr. manhattan was huge in his first scene, and while he was shrinking to normal size, it looked cartoony. Also, whereas Mars should have been a great scene, it didn't come off as beautiful or as it was meant to, a desolate planet of miraculous phenomena.
The movie certainly doesn't stand on its own feet, and as an adaptation of the graphic novel it fails to evoke the same feeling or imbue the same message. Now just so i don't have to repeat myself, I'm saying that it did attempt to send the same message and have the same feeling, that's obvious, the trouble is they failed.

Don't give me that "don't criticize what you cant understand" bs. I don't need to know all the background info of a movie to judge it, a good movie should give one enough info on its own. Everything was so predictable and bad like a soap opera. And a list of my favorite movies? That sort of comeback is in such bad taste, shame on you.

Mmmmm. I notice you didnt name any though? The movie did give enough info, im not even saying it, or the comic is hard to follow, just that if you thought ther was no depth to it your either missing something or just didnt give enough of a shit to look past the surface of the narration.

also, thr dont criticize line is from a Dylan song, just thought it was a good opertunity to use it as you were complaining about the music!
