On The 'Bigger' Plan For Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.:

"We've had a plan from the beginning. The first half [of the season] was to lay the groundwork. And as we approach the end of the season, you'll see that all of that will pay off. Full throttle is the key word for it." - Maurissa Tancharoen

On The Upcoming Lorelei Introduction To The Marvel Cinematic Universe:

"She has the power of sorcery, so that's interesting to see how our team deals with that......Maybe a few are enamored with her," - Maurissa Tancharoen

On Guest Star Jaimie Alexander As 'Lady Sif':

"She is a woman warrior and she's godlike and she has to wear these kicka** boots and I was so happy I wasn't the only one who had to walk around this awful floor and fight in high heel boots......It was just nice to have someone else on set to empathize with" - Ming-Na Wen

"The language barriers, it was really fun to write. And seeing how she will take something literally. If Coulson will throw a line at her, she actually does the literal version of that physically" - Jed Whedon

On Distancing 'Fitz' And 'Simmons':

"We spend more time apart, that's for sure. And I do think that different dynamics are going to come in and shake it up a little bit. But, I do think at the core, we'll always be FitzSimmons" - Elizabeth Henstridge

On The Return Of 'Blizzard', 'Graviton' And Other Villains:

Some of them are long throws. When we encounter things each week, we don't want feel like, 'Oh, here's a guy who can do this, and let's learn about what that is real quick.' It feels sort of unearned and very standalone. So now that we've planted some of those seeds, we can encounter those people down the line and it will feel more earned." - Jed Whedon

On Bill Paxson Joining The Cast For A 4 Episode Arc:

"Bill is the best person ever. We're a really tight-knit group of people, so it might be intimidating for other guest stars to come on. Bill fits right in. He's incredible. He's so funny; I love him and I really like his character. ... He is awesome. Everyone's going to love his character." - Chloe Bennett

In light of the recent development that we will see a 'Thor 3' in the coming years, the guys at Zap2it asked about possibly taking the Agents off-world. While they were told that there are no plans for a dimension hopping adventure this season, the show runners have "discussed taking their SHIELD agents to fictional Marvel worlds. It won't happen until farther down the road, though, as they want the characters to fully exist in their own world first." and add that "The pair said they're gong to roll out new universes slowly".

You don't get to troll on Arrow articles, only to que Arrow haters on an Agents thread.
You are as much a troll as they are.

All they had to do with this show to make it beyond great was just make Jessica Drew (aka Spider-Woman) a Hydra agent who believes in their cause until she accidentally kills Jared (her boy friend) in an attempt to assassinate Coulson.

She then learns the true nature of Hydra and helps take them down.

It would have been perfect.

The Coulson reveal was the most anticlimactic piece of television I've ever seen.

Does anyone know if this show is gonna be back to airing at a WEEKLY BASIS when it comes back in March??

This gets me excited for the latter part of the season, but I don't think I can handle much more of this on-and-off broadcasting....

I'm still watching it -- but my main problem with AoS is still the same. I'm not invested in the characters. I still don't like any of them, except for Coulson and even he's not doing it for me too much anymore.

It still feels like a kiddie show trying to get a little grittier. And, I'd much rather see a costumed character that fits in with the SHIELD world like Captain America or US Agent rather than Lady Sif for a cameo appearance.
I'll keep watching until season's end then make my decision. I want to like the show, it's just growing on me waaaaay too slowly and that's troublesome.

Nice omega. I've been down with AOS since day 1. It's only gonna get better. I still think the wrecking crew is coming.

@questiontheanswer you do know that it was not the complete story right? It just confirmed that tahiti is just a bunch of nothing and they messed up his memory.... I assume you could not properly grasp the reveal...

The CGI on Deathlok's leg looked like movie quality CGI. I wonder how much of the episode's budget that cost.

I love sif. I hope we get a oneshot of the warriors three and lady sif sometime soon. They have the time they deserve in a Thor movie. Maybe something that's a sort of prequel to Thor 3

@sinsear don't you know..all the fights have to be in the dark for the show to feel more dark and gritty...the darker the overall setting the more "adult oriented" the show becomes...

Show getting way better. At first I didn't care for the actors, except Coulson, but they've all grown on me and they're better actors than I thought. Agent Ward is a star in the making. Good range. The scene with him trying to turn the holo-table on, fantastic.

I don't think the show should be more comic book-y. I love that they're taking their time, rolling characters and plot out slowly. Marvel's got a huge sandbox to play in and to see character origins -- like Deathlok and potentially Jessica Drew -- develop over time, is more gratifying in the long run. Also, now that Marvel has the deal with Netflix, they have to balance which characters they'll use on AoS and which they'll use on the others. Like Moon Knight. I thought initially he could appear on AoS, but no doubt they'll save him for DD, Iron Fist, or Cage.

That's hella awesome that we might get to see other dimensions. There was one episode where the villain was going through dimensions. I hope they touch on that little piece of story in the future.

Man I really feel sorry for Mike Peterson. He was injured, then his wife left him, then he lost his job, the he went crazy due to exremis, then he blew up and lost his leg. And to top it all off his a cyborg killing machine under the clairvoyants control.

There are multiple Deathloks in the comics so maybe this guy isn't going to be the only one.

I really do hope they find a way to incorporate Hank Pym into this show.

I know Micheal Douglas is playing him as an older man in the present but hope the whole time loop rumor from Roger Wardell is true. Get a younger unknown to play him and Jan, sign them up for Agents of SHIELD, and make Pym the scientist supreme of SHIELD. Would love to see him lead the team. Only problem would be the issue of super powers...would the show have enough resources to make Antman/Yellowjacket and Wasp work.
