Okay, so Agent Grant Ward betrayed the team for Hydra last season. But none of these people care what he'd been through that led him to this. Why would he be loyal to Garret? Oh, it doesn't matter. He shot up some irrelevant SHIELD agents so boom, we don't care about him anymore.
I know I'm being a little hard headed here, but c'mon. They spent so much time with him over the first season, and they just give up on him when he shows his faults. Two wrongs don't make a right people!
Not to mention that he's already spent time making up for his wrongs. He brough a high-level Hydra agent to Coulson! He actually kept his promise to Skye! Let us not forget she manipulated him while he was in the cell. Something along the lines of "Please Ward! Tell me who my dad is!" Then when Ward brings her to him and tries to [frick]ing protect her, she SHOOTS him? I don't care who you are, that's extreme and uncalled for. He was doing it because he cared about her.
What's worse is that people say that he deserved it. He's trying to better, he's trying to be a hero! Is he irredeemable? I wouldn't say so, especially if Black Widow wasn't. Have we forgotten her atrocities under the KGB?

A hospital fire? Killing some dude's daughter? She has red in her ledger. She killed innocents because she was manipulated. And you know what? Now she's a superhero that kids look up to. How 'bout that?
