In the final episode of Moon Knight, Arthur Harrow became Ammit's new avatar. After he was very nearly beaten to death by Jake Lockley (not that we knew it at the time), Harrow was used as a means to trap the Egyptian God inside his body by Marc Spector/Steven Grant and Layla El-Faouly.
Left in a mental asylum (the process clearly took its toll on the former Moon Knight), it appeared that's where his story would end. However, he was taken from the safety of that institution by Khonshu and Jake, with the latter seemingly shooting Harrow dead in the back of that limo. So, that has to be the last we see of Harrow, right? Perhaps not.
Talking to ComicBook.com, actor Ethan Hawke suggested that not even four bullets would be enough to keep the unhinged bad guy down. Asked if Harrow is really dead, he simply responded, "Sure doesn't seem dead to me."
That's an odd comment to make, especially when Harrow's demise seemed so definitive. However, we didn't technically see him die, and it's possible having Ammit trapped inside his body could give Arthur a little extra power. Perhaps Khonshu and Jake were just looking to incapacitate their foe for a time?
Whatever the case may be, Hawke has shown interest in continuing his character's story in a second season of Moon Knight, so it's possible he knows something about Harrow's future we don't. With no season 2 announcement, however, we might be waiting a while before finding out!
Do you think Arthur Harrow is a villain worth bringing back to the MCU?
