MOON KNIGHT: New Training Video Shows Oscar Isaac Kicking Ass And Taking Names Before MCU Debut

Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke have been spotted in Budapest as they prepare to start shooting Moon Knight, and the former's production company, Mad Gene Media, has shared another training video.

They don't specify whether this is for the Disney+ series, but it seems pretty obvious that it is. Marc Spector's fighting style is clearly going to be brutal, though that makes perfect sense for him if you're at all familiar with the character. The unhinged vigilante doesn't take prisoners, and it seems likely those knives are just doubling for the crescent blades the hero uses in the comic books.

Isaac has shaved that undeniably impressive beard based on the photo mentioned above, though it does look like he might still be rocking that long hair. Now, with cameras about to start rolling on Moon Knight, we could soon see set photos spotlighting the anti-hero's live-action costume.

That's how we got our first look at Captain America in The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, but Marvel Studios did a great job of keeping the Scarlet Witch and White Vision under wraps in WandaVision.

Check out this impressive training video below:

@aresww3 - would have definitely been a good choice, it’s a shame we never got Clancy Browne in his prime as a live action Lex, he was Lex Luthor!

@solskulldeath - Yes I understand he looks like Lex Luthor and he'd be a good Lex Luthor. But would he be to Lex Luthor what Heath Ledger was to Joker. That's what I'm saying. BvS was going for a new interpretation of Lex Luthor as young Silicon valley tech millenial hipster billionaire and Oscar Isaac played the most smug, narcisstic, cold hearted, genius I've seen. He perfectly fit that mold. Even down to the bald head. I'm just saying if Zack didn't get the crazy idea of Jessie Eisenberg, I think Oscar Isaac would have fit much better what he was going for, while still maintaining the classical elements of Lex Luthor as well.

But don't get me wrong, for the Lex we get in the DCAU and most of the comics, your guy would be excellent. Again he would have been recieved better than Jessie Eisenberg. See I don't think Zack had a bad idea of how to update Lex Luthor, I just think he was cast badly and had a stupid back story. If they wanted to make him a Mark Zuckerberg, Elon Musk type, they should have made him a self-made billionaire.

@solskulldeath - i mean he's bald, he's a fitness freak, he's arrogant, he's narcissistic, he's a genius. he is lex luthor. the guy from antman is defo classic lex, but oscar is better in ex machina than he is in antman.

Excited for this one! Will also be interesting to see how Marvel handles Street level heroes, after seeing the marvel netflix stuff doing them.

@MeAreLegend - Agreed.
Also enjoying the eclectic mix of combat arts.
Definitely blends of Escrima/Kali, Capoeira, Muay Thai, BJJ and Krav Maga.
For me the best fighting styles that have been choreographed for film have been in The Winter Soldier, The Raid(s), The Bourne(s) and Daredevil.

@Juggernaut2021 - For sure! I’m also interested to see the camerawork, as the movies have been very jumpcut heavy (especially TWS) compared to the Netflix stuff where we would often get one takes

He seems to fight a lot with knives, wonder how that will look like with PG.

Any ideas which established heroes/villains could appear?
