The Good Place star Jameela Jamil recently confirmed that she'd joined the cast of the upcoming Disney+ She-Hulk series with a training video she shared to Instagram, and the actress has now given fans a first glimpse of the striking hairdo she'll be sporting as the villainous Titania.
We weren't certain this photo had anything to do with her She-Hulk role at the time, but a behind-the-scenes shot shared by Mark Ruffalo, who can be seen in his mo-cap suit alongside Jamil's stunt double, leaves little doubt!
Check out Jamil's comic-accurate Titania look below.
This take on Titania is said to be a "Kardashian-esque social media influencer in her 30s with a dark side." This would obviously be a very different origin for Mary McPherran, who was given super-human strength, stamina and durability (the powers of a Titan) by Doctor Doom during Secret Wars in the comics.
We're hoping to get an official look at Tatiana Maslany as She-Hulk fairly soon, but for now, you can check out some set photos here.
Jamil, Ruffalo and Maslany join Hamilton star Renée Elise Goldsberry as a character named Amelia, Tim Roth as Abomination and Ginger Gonzaga as Walters’ best friend (most likely Jill Stevens). Dead To Me director Kat Coiro wil helm the pilot and several other episodes, while Rick and Morty scribe Jessica Gao will lead the writers' room.
