THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT: Check Out A Handful Of Spoiler Stills From Today's Jaw-Dropping Episode

The first batch of stills from today's jaw-dropping episode of The Book of Boba Fett have been released highlighting a few key characters, but none of those massive cameos, unfortunately. Check them out!

Well, that was quite something, eh?

While Boba Fett has arguably become the least interesting character in his own series after the last couple of episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, today's instalment delivered its fair share of jaw-dropping moments. They included the return of Luke Skywalker and Grogu, not to mention heaps of surprise cameos - and a major live-action debut - that we'll be breaking down a little later today.

The stage has been set for a huge finale, anyway, and Lucasfilm and Disney+ have now shared a new handful of spoiler stills. They don't reveal much, but we're expecting a far more exciting batch to arrive on Monday alongside some new character posters (the mind boggles at who could take centre stage there).

In these images, we catch up with Jennifer Beals' Garsa Fwip shortly before that explosive ending, while a glimpse at Boba and Fennec Shand's reactions to Mando's return is also teased.

It's certainly been interesting to see Fett sidelined these past couple of weeks, though fans of The Mandalorian haven't had many complaints. Ultimately, The Book of Boba Fett has successfully managed to reveal what happened to the former bounty hunter after Return of the Jedi, while also setting up a new status quo for him that will hopefully carry over into a much stronger season 2.

Toooo much to discuss, but another stellar episode where the title character is again sidelined. Poor Boba, but goes to show they didn't need to put him as a main character as he's much more effective in the supportive aspect.

But wow, did Lucasfilm put ol' boy from Deep-Fake to work! it was seamless! Best de-aging or face swapping I've ever seen, though the voice work was a bit off.

Disney, just give Filoni the keys! I'll be happy if he was given a chance to do Episode X. Glad he's filling in some of the gaps, but I'll also be happy if we move away from the Skywalker stuff.

10/10

@UniqNo - Shamook. Disney straight up recruited him. You love to see it. A creator on YouTube getting called in by the big guns to give them some ammo. His contribution was certainly felt.

@DarthOmega - He was all over that!

I wonder if Hamill needed to contribute this time? he was credited but it just seemed like they went back in time and brought back Hamill Prime lol.

It would be a waste to not have him interact with Boba though, given their last interaction in RotJ

@UniqNo - I think it was just like last time using Mark for a reference. His mannerisms, and just to honor him.

But to be honest, sometimes for a small portion it almost looked as if it was deepfaked using his current face. Speaking of Deepfakes... It was like 95/100. At some angles the light, and blending with the scene made it look a bit artificial. But it wasn't distracting at all for me. Most of the time it was basically 1 to 1

@DarthOmega - Yeah there's a couple times when he turned his head talking to Ashoka, but not a distracting in the way the last appearance once. And was so much more than a cameo, he was fully in a supporting role this episode. And Grogu, ahh too much.

That episode was like having the entirety of Star Wars itself injected directly into my veins. Tonight's episode was a GIANT win for all Star Wars fans 10/10
