THE BOOK OF BOBA FETT Rumored To Include An Appearance From [SPOILER] And [SPOILER] Next Week

This past Wednesday's episode of The Book of Boba Fett shifted the spotlight to another familiar (helmeted) face, but a new rumour promises more big surprises with an appearance from two key characters.

In "The Return of The Mandalorian," Din Djarin was recruited by Fennec Shand to lend Boba Fett a helping hand in his war against the Pyke Syndicate. Now, with just two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett left, it appears we'll be spending even more time with The Mandalorian's lead character...and perhaps a couple of other familiar faces!

The final few moments of the latest chapter strongly hinted we'll see Grogu next week, but Cinelinx is now reporting that they've previously heard rumblings that both The Child and Luke Skywalker would be making appearances in the Disney+ series. It now seems highly likely that will happen this coming Wednesday, and it's worth noting the site has always been pretty solid for Star Wars intel.

Max Lloyd-Jones, the actor who doubled for Mark Hamill/Luke Skywalker in The Mandalorian's season 2 finale, played one of the X-Wing pilot in the latest instalment of The Book of Boba Fett, so there's every chance he was on hand to shoot additional scenes at the Jedi Knight.

If "The Return of The Mandalorian" made anything clear, it's that the stage is being set for Din and Grogu to reunite. That repurposed Naboo Starfighter even has a space for the adorable "Baby Yoda" to sit, so something will clearly happen to lead to Grogu deciding that he no longer wants to be trained by Luke (however, it's far too early in the timeline for Ben Solo to be in any way responsible).

We'll see what happens, but Dave Filoni is expected to helm the next episode of The Book of Boba Fett, and that likely means it will be heavy on this Galaxy Far, Far Away's Jedi lore!

Check out what Simon Pegg told us about a possible cameo as Dengar below:

So Boba will be the least interesting part of his own show for another episode

Boba:

@BlackBeltJones - I feel they got the character wrong. He’s not as badass as everyone anticipated. He’s been Nerfed. And he definitely talks too much in my opinion. They should’ve used Fennec to talk for him.

So far the most interesting episode was the one without Boba Fett...

Latest episode made me wish Bryce Dallas Howard was more involved with this show.

@ModHaterSLADE - it made me wish that she would direct a trilogy of Star Wars movies and eventually replace Kath Kennedy as the head of LucasFilms

@ModHaterSLADE - Funny. Fanboys were crying she was the worst on Mandalorian.

Just like they were shitting on Peyton Reed for being one of the directors chosen for the show until they shit their pants over Luke showing up.

Fickle.

@Roodi - well her first episode of Mando is one of the worst of the entire show. Whether it was down to writing or her finding her way, the episode sucked. She definitely stepped her game up tremendously for her episode in S2. It was tight and snappy, and very well executed. Now she’s knocked it out of the park for this latest Boba episode. So regardless of “what people said” in the past, she’s learned and grow and really improved as a director.

#1 - Mando is who Boba Fett should have been in this new Disney universe.

#2 - Luke will train Mando on how to properly fight with the darksaber.
