The plot revolves around the player switching between timelines of Marvel 2099 universes, playing as both Peter Parker / Spider-Man and Miguel O'Hara / Spider-Man 2099, to try and prevent a catastrophe resulting from Peter Parker's untimely death, caused by an evil scientist from the 2099 universe.


Spider-Man: Edge of Time is set for released in the Fall of 2011.

Hmm. I certainly wasn't a big fan of Shattered Dimensions. The plot, although mediocre at best, seemed like it was constructed for children, and it was DEFINITELY used in cartoons in the past various times. It was nothing special and I found myself only enjoying NOir and 2099. Even with that, it was still not fluid and logical as Web Of Shadows. Web Of Shadows should have had a sequel, not this horseshit.

Anyway, this trailer looked pretty decent. I mean, the concept they're aiming for looks good, but would have been better if it were the first in the series. Now it jusr seems like they're leeching off the multi-Spidey concept to reel in more fans. Last I recalled, Anti-Venom was small like Spidey. What the hell happened? Lol, and why does it look like he worked out his upper body but not his legs? FAIL, lol. Ah, well. I'll be watching this on the tube until Web Of Shadows 2 comes out.

Shattered Dimensions was an excellent game. Great levels, great bosses, and great gameplay. The story was pretty thin though but I expect that to get patched up in the future. Spidey's on the right track as far as games are concerned.

Nah, a bunch of them are very good. (2, 3, Ultimate, Web of Shadows, Shattered Dimensions.)

Shattered Dimensions, Web of Shadows, and the originals for PS1 are my favorites of all time. I will be adding this, it looks beyond awesome! Anti-Venom man!!

Just started playing through SMSD again. Really excited for this, it seems like it's going to have a way more serious of a narrative. I wonder if these guys would ever consider doing a game based on any of the famous stories in the comics. Clone Saga anyone? It would work well with the multi-spidey thing they've been doing, I think.

Why is Anti-Venom trying to kill Spider-man? It goes against his entire character. There better be a REALLY good reason or whoever wrote this game's script knows nothing about Anti-Venom and they just tossed him in the game for the "WOAH! COOL!" factor.
