Olivia Wilde Briefly Addresses Tomb Raider Rumors!

Actress Olivia Wilde was rumored to play 'Lara Croft' in the upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise, but is she really up for the role? Check out what she had to say.

As it was previously reported, Iron Man screenwriters Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby will pen the upcoming Tomb Raider reboot. The last film starring Angelina Jolie was released in 2003 and since then there was a lot of speculation on who will replace her. One of the actress was Olivia Wilde, who now briefly talks about that rumor.



"As far as I know right now, I'm not playing Lara Croft. No."


"That would be so awesome. I love Lara Croft," she said. "That's really cool that people think I should play her. That's nice of them."


There is also a Tomb Raider video game reboot, that will bring the character back to the beginning and show us Lara Croft's early days. Who would you like to see playing this character on the big screen again?

I really like Olivia, she is beautiful, and she really has shined (is that the right usage of the term?) bright in her past few roles. She has always been great on House haha. So I would give this a shot.

I'm a huge fan of Olivia Wilde, she can handle any type of work in film whether it's action, drama or sci-fi. She'd we a safe choice for the role of Lara Croft.

you guys do realize that most actress's with huge boobs aren't that good at acting (it may sound like a stereotype, but its true) or don't resemble the character at all.

I say let's see how well Hayley Atwell handles a gun throughout Captain America. She definitely has both the accent and the figure, and I'm ready to swoon over her from just the trailer.

They dont need an actress with flat or big boobs, they need a sharp and agile woman who can cope with any difficult situations

By the way, would not Megan Fox play the next Tomb Raider? Ive heard it somewhere

pick an actress who actually has a body type that looks like it can take a hit and deliver some blows. Wilde is a toothpick. no one would buy her as some badass ass kicking chick.

also, she has no tits, and from every single incarnation of the character from the games, Lara Croft is always rocking at least a set of DD's

not saying she needs to have porno tits, but she needs at least a little bit up top

not 2 sound like a shallow dick, but she is famous for her oversized breast. well it is a bad image for kids, its part of her history. i know i can't argue this point with out sounding like a pig.
