Find Out How Gal Gadot Became The New WONDER WOMAN

Although we have yet to see much of Gal Gadot's performance as Wonder Woman, what is certain is that she is more than excited to take to the big screen as the Amazonian princess. In her interview with Total Film Magazine, Gal Gadot revealed how she got the role of Wonder Woman. Check it out!

During her interview with Total Film Magazine about the new Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Gal Gadot revealed what the process was like to land the role of Wonder Woman. Turns out she had no idea that she was auditioning for the role of a lifetime. Let's see what she had to say.

"It's been a long process. It started when I was back in Los Angeles and I was told I had a very important audition for a Warner Bros production, but no one said what it was. After a month or two months, they called me and said that they wanted to test me for this movie. It's crazy, because you feel like you're working with the CIA because everything is so confidential. And then, a week later, Zack Snyder called me. He said, 'OK, I'm not sure you have it in Israel or how big it is in Israel, but have you heard of Wonder Woman?' And then my jaw literally dropped. I died for a few seconds, then I went back to life. [laughs] Then I tried to get back my coolest voice, and not talk like I'm shaky and overwhelmed."

It looks like auditioning for a comic book movie has become the new covert intelligence. Who can blame the studios? We just want to know! With all this information, there is still so much left that they haven't even revealed. Hopefully Zack Snyder is calling his Green Lantern and getting ready to reveal him to us soon.

Besides Spiderman, Batman, and Superman........ everyone knows who Wonder Woman is!!!!!!!

Yup the best role model for girls!!!! So glad DC is showcasing her in a solo movie! This is one are where Marvel screwed up by not pushing out a solo female movie.

Zack wanted an exotic looking actress to portray WW! Also she has goddess like features.........

Haters are going to hate but you never see them bitch about Scar-Jo looking nothing like Black Widow as in height and other features, or how skinny Gamora was as well..........

Gal Gadot is sexier with less clothes on, but she is 10x sexier with the Wonder Woman costume on.

She's hot as hell and she has a slight accent which ups the hot points lol. I dont think she's a bad choice for the role, facially and acting wise she's perfect, its just that you expect an Amazon to be a little more beefed up. I remember they were teasing that Gina Carano was playing her because she was dating Cavill at the time, now Carano def has much more of a Wonder Woman build and even facially she could pull it off, its just her acting chops that are shit lol.

Female superhero movies haven't fared so well at the box office. Granted the movies that we have been given have sucked i.e. Supergirl and Elektra. But the bottom line is that generally Superhero movies are aimed at a target audience of teenage boys and most teenage boys can give 2 shits about seeing a chick superhero movie.

honestly what bothers me more than anything about Gal Gadot as WW is that her hair is so [frick]ing flat lol. WW should have a head of big beautiful wavy hair lol. Im so anal about superheroes and their hair lol, I hate the way they did up Cavill's hair as Superman in this movie, its like shellacked. I wish they had kept it the way he had it in the first movie, also it doesn't help that Cavill is going bald, he has a receding hair line. I hated Brandon Routh's hair as Superman as well, firstly that it was brown and not black, and secondly that it looked like the way my mom used to part my hair when i was pretending to be Superman as a little kid lol. I also hated Dean Cain's hair as Superman, they got their characters reversed and Dean's Clark had Superman's traditional hair style and his Superman had Clark's traditional slicked back hair.

@KryptonianBorn

So, every person unhappy with this casting is a Marvel fan? What am I thinking, you and logic will NEVER co-oexist. Stop blaming every [frick]ing criticism as just being some Marvel bias. Of course, I'm sure that it would be easier for you if it was true, as it would allow you to continue to be one-dimensional. [frick]ing grow up and learn how to talk with the rest of the adults.

Back to the topic:
For the record, I think that she is going to be awesome! At this point, the hating has become redundant and, soon, it will be seen as having been unnecessary.

It's apparently one of those phases now where @Manti just goes fully into his trademark fear biter mode and lashes out at any hint of DC criticism with incoherent MCU remarks. It's no use trying to reason with him when he's like that. :(

The thinG that always put Gal in front of Gina Carano for me is that she has more of an elegant image to her. She looks like she may be an easy target but damn she will kick your ass. I'll be honest in that I haven't seen her in anything so I don't know what her acting is like but I'm sure Wb/DC wouldn't employ a card board cut out for such an important role. Once again, I'll say she definitely has the look and I'm all in to give her a good chance.

@JoeMomma29 - Do you really compare Black Widow and Gamora to Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman is the biggest female superhero, she is a big dog, in the A-list up there with Superman and Batman. They put a toothpick in a role that requires muscle.

@Kyos

Yeah. He talks about "Marvel bias" but, ANY. SINGLE. TIME. someone has ANYthing to criticize about a DC film (even if they're a fan of DC), he collapses into his blubbering about "dance-offs" and the other, usual, simple-minded bullshit. It's like a monkey throwing shit, pretty much just his knee-jerk response. If he ever learned how to argue the merits of what he wished to defend, I'm pretty sure the Earth would fly off its [frick]ing axis.
