Wonder Woman is being remade by Boston Legal writer David E. Kelley, who has incorporated the superhero’s signature lasso, cuffs, and plane in the pilot. NBC promises the project, if picked up to series, will offer a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character.


Serious and non campy is NOT what I was expecting after what we have heard so far on the series, and this costume definitely goes against that! It's ok though. I think it's a bit OTT with the bright colors, but that IS how Wonder Woman looks in the comic right? Could be better, but it could be a lot worse! Miss Palicki looks smoking at any rate. What say you guys?

Reminds me of Smallville low budget costumes (Ones that the Justice League, Stargirl and Hawkman wore not Dr Fate.) big budget it is not.

It is sad that all the costume needs is a another material maybe something with a darker blue and if the top looked metallic instead of plastic.

Still not as bad as it could be and hopefully that terrible fan art of Cobie Smulders as Wonder Woman dies down.

I dunno, there is no pleasing some people. I'm not saying it looks particularly good, but it's by no means THAT bad. If they dimmed down the colors or altered it more then that would cause ructions too. For a tv show, it's ok. Could be better yes, but then the show doesn't exactly sound that great anyway does it?

@ROR......I kinda agree with you....it's natural they took one element from the recent costume....the top half looks good but the lower looks silly....Still got to wait for tv spot to have some say I guess

She looks great, but the costume looks a little...cheap. I'll need to see it in live action (although I find it hard to imagine I'll be watching the show, lol) but it looks like something I could buy from a dress up store!

She looks great not sure about the costume should have just gone with the new costume to be honest with you, needs to tone down the colour. But Palicki looks fine. They should have just made the bottom half black

@StrangerX- The shininess doesn't bother me too much...she's a princess so I guess that would make sense for it to be shiny. I don't know, I seriously thought it was going to be way worse. It's really not that bad. Unless people want her costume to be way darker like Batman-style which would not make much sense. Her costume is bright in the comics too ;D

Ror: I have to seriously disagree with you. This IS that bad. Going with this costume would have worked okay but they still had to alter it in order to camp it up. The neo, shiny latex look does nothing but detract from anybody ever taking this as more than a joke. The bracelets and every part of the costume that is supposed to be any sort of metal looks like some sort of extremely cheap rubber/plastic material.

I think this looks more campy than anything Smallville has put on screen. Okay, more campy than "most" of the costumes Smallville has put on screen.;P

I think it looks good, but yea it's way too shiny and bright. It'll probably look better with the tv lighting and stuff, but it looks a lot like a costume from a video game.

They should have used the costume that Lois wore on Smallville last year, or two years ago.
