Possible WONDER WOMAN SPOILERS Regarding 'Steve Trevor' & Those Set Pics

When we saw Chris Pine decked out in World War I garb in those recently released images from the Wonder Woman set, we figured Steve Trevor must only feature in the portion of the movie that's set in the past. Well, there might just be something else going on there...

Fans were disappointed when these Wonder Woman set snaps seemed to confirm that Steve Trevor would only factor into the World War I portion of the movie, but it turns out Chris Pine might actually be playing dual roles - and that wasn't Steve Trevor all, but his grandfather!

According to Heroic Hollywood, it'll be the dear ol' granddaddy that helps Gal Gadot's Diana defeat Ares in the past before passing away (they don't specify if he's killed in battle or not), and then when the time-frame shifts to present say she'll encounter his grandson, Steve, and he'll team up with her to take on Ares once again.

If this is true, obviously Steve will look identical to his grandfather, which is a well-worn (and rather silly) plot device that's all but been phased out of movie's in recent years. What do you guys make of this rumor? Wonder Woman hits theaters June 23, 2017.
